Perhaps that will change in a future update, but for now this is where the shake-to-locate cursor feature is found. If you have gone looking for this preference toggle before and not found it, it’s likely because the location of this setting is a little out of place, residing within Display, despite there being are multiple settings locations for Mouse and Trackpad. Of course, if you turn it back on, a quick shake makes the cursor bigger again.

The adjustment is immediate, if you have the feature turned off, shaking the cursor around all you want does not make the pointer larger, it’s exactly the same as it was in all prior releases of Mac OS and Mac OS X.

Shake the mouse cursor to see the change, then leave System Preferences as usual.

Uncheck the box next to “Shake mouse pointer to locate” (or check it if you wish to enable the cursor enlargement feature).

Select “Accessibility” and go to “Display”.

Go to the  Apple menu and choose “System Preferences”.
